Building Remotely is a content project from Y-Combinator-backed startup SafetyWing. Since joining the company in 2020 I helped to conceptualize and launch building Remotely's Podcast, Blog, and Newsletter.
From its inception, I have been responsible for managing and growing the Building Remotely Platform, in a role I would best describe as a "Content Product Manager".
At the time of my departure, Building Remotely was reaching 20k+ organic monthly website visits as well as an email list of 1k+ readers.
My main tasks included:
- Producing bi-monthly podcast episodes with thought leaders in the remote work scene, such as Kevin Kelly, Andreas Klinger, Pieter Levels, and Steph Smith
- Designing, writing, and sending weekly newsletters
- Creating systems to increase efficiency
- Conceptualizing and leading campaigns to improve and grow Building Remotely
- Customer Research
